What I didn’t expect was the extent to which I have connected with the other Strong Leaders. This year has been a great experience. I look forward to being matched with a new college woman and continuing to develop relationships with other professional women.”– Professional Mentor

Professional women,

Are you seeking an opportunity to make a difference in the life of a young college woman? Through SWSG’s (Pittsburgh) Strong Leaders Program, professional women are paired up with college women who are currently mentoring pre-adolescent grade girls in the Greater Pittsburgh area. Along with the pairing, SWSG will support the relationship by providing curriculum, that can be used during one-on-one mentoring sessions throughout the course of the year.

Through the program, you have the opportunity to share your experiences and wisdom with young women who will be the next generation of leaders. The Strong Leaders Program also works to build your own network and leadership skills by connecting you with peers and experts through our cohort sessions and our frequent special events.

There has not been a meeting between us yet where I didn’t leave feeling inspired and proud. She is the dream mentor, and it is such a powerful thing to have someone you’ve only known for a few months to wholeheartedly believe in you, encourage you, and support you — Undergraduate Mentee20188_799405006794688_2834158196450211397_n
