Strong Women, Strong Girls is thrilled to announce that YW Boston named SWSG Boston Executive Director Siiri Morley as one of the 150 Boston Women of Influence in 2016!
Congratulations Siiri and thank you for all of the hard work you do to facilitate relationships between women that focus on mutual empowerment and uplift. Under your leadership, this organization, and its network of women and girls, not only continues to grow, but also flourishes. We are excited to accomplish more in 2017 as we work tirelessly towards our goal to establish mentorships and inspire women and girls in Boston and beyond.
As YW writes, “Every woman on this list has worked to create a better Boston for all.” We would add that they work to create a better world for all. At SWSG, we know educating and providing opportunities for women improves society as a whole.
From politicians Michelle Wu, Ayanna Pressley, and Elizabeth Warren to scholar activists Kimberlé Crenshaw and Angela Davis to comedians Mindy Kaling and Amy Poehler, YW Boston celebrates women who have dedicated their lives to fighting social, racial, and gender disparities. Find out who the other 150 Boston Women of Influence are (many inspire us!) and join us in honoring them and their work, which benefits all of us.
