Strong Women, Strong Girls is beginning to “jump” with excitement for Jump into Spring 2012. On April 14th, over 1400 elementary-school girls – cheered on by their SWSG mentors, staff, and community partners – will be jump-roping together as a strong community celebrating a strong year. As Strong Women, Strong Girls gears up for this signature event and fundraiser, we are reflecting on the inspiring words of a beloved adult volunteer, Clara Sierra.
