As our new program year gets off to a great start, we are excited to welcome our 2012-2013 Board of Directors. This year, the Board includes 7 returning members and 5 new members. SWSG Founder, Lindsay Hyde, will serve as an adviser to the Board.
Susan Miele, who served as the organization’s Interim President this summer, now leads the Board as the Chair. Susan has been a member of the SWSG Board of Directors since 2010.  She is currently a doctoral student at Fielding Graduate University, pursuing a PhD in human and organization systems with a concentration in social change. Ms. Miele consults in human resources strategy, specializing in organizational design and leadership development.  She has more than twenty years’ experience practicing in this field as a senior executive in high growth and rapidly changing businesses.  Ms. Miele designs and implements leading people strategies and global human resources programs, which achieve results.  She also serves on the Advisory Council of a start-up non-profit, Eating for Life Alliance, and has recently joined the Advisory Council of the Maine Women’s Fund.  Ms. Miele has played a major role in the parent organizations in her community, serving on the Executive Board and leading the local Girl Talk Chapter.
