Presented by Strong Women, Strong Girls, the Spark Award celebrates an individual (male or female) whose work demonstrates a commitment to empowering women and girls in our community. A Spark Award honoree ignites others to make a positive impact, activates and stimulates inspiration, and acts as a catalyst for positive change for women and girls. A Spark Award winner embodies the values of Strong Women, Strong Girls. Last year’s recipient was Dr. Linda Lane, Superintendent of the Pittsburgh Public Schools.
