Jennifer A. Tsolas

Jennifer Tsolas joined Strong Women, Strong Girls in 2019 as Director of Development & Communications where she oversees revenue planning, fundraising strategy, communications, and volunteer engagement. She is a seasoned development professional with over 20 years of experience working with non-profit organizations to lead resource development, communications, event planning and volunteer stewardship strategies.
Throughout her work in Greater Boston, Jennifer has successfully increased donor and volunteer support from individuals, corporations and foundations for organizations focused on meeting a myriad of community needs: youth mentoring services; LGBTQ equality and inclusivity programming; social services for homeless women; affordable housing and safe mortgages for low income home buyers; and home delivered, nutritionally tailored meals for the critically ill.
Jennifer’s passion for social change, talent for building relationships, and her commitment to industry best practices have helped organizations including On The Rise, North Shore Pride, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance and Community Servings to meet their goals and serve more community members. She is an experienced leader with expertise ranging from annual fund, major gift, and special event planning to capital, public relations, and strategic planning campaigns.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. She currently lives in Somerville with her cat Margaux, and outside of work she enjoys travel, interior design and large family get-togethers.
