Kenyora’s note on what this award means to her:
Thank you to the Mayor’s Office of Women’s Advancement for this wonderful recognition. Being selected as a finalist for the EXTRAordinary Women of Boston is very humbling, and I am very thankful. I think every woman is EXTRAordinary and should be recognized for her fortitude and contributions of empowerment and uplift for others. There is no degree of our obligation to the community that is greater than other because all the work we do is very critical and it all matters.  I’m in and do this “work” because I choose to walk in truth with courage to love. I know of no other purpose but to empower others to be the best version of themselves. Yet, I know I could not do this work alone: I am very thankful for the support and love of my phenomenal team and community at Strong Women, Strong Girls!
