Our Purpose through Mentorship
We believe in a cycle of mutual empowerment, connecting women and girls at different stages in their lives, so that they not only learn from, but grow with each other. Our mentoring community encourages our girls and young women to be the leaders and changemakers they dream to be.
Our programs include opportunities for professional women of all ages, college women, and girls in grades 3-5. We also partner with local organizations, companies, and schools to provide unique opportunities for our program participants. How Do We Deliver Our Programs?
SWSG engages women and girls across generations through:
- Curriculum-guided, growth-fostering mentoring sessions for elementary girls, led by local college women.
- Networks forged among college women and local professional women mentors through group and/or pair-based mentoring.
- Shared experiences among all program participants, like Campus Discovery Tours, our annual Jump into Spring celebration, and real-life role model activities.
