Rachel Willis

Rachel Willis is the Chief of Staff for the Digital Assets Business at Bank of New York Mellon, the oldest bank in the U.S. that is shaping the future of financial services through responsible innovation. Previously, Rachel held senior corporate communications positions at BlockFi, a global fintech startup, and Edelman, where she advised with large financial and tech organization on corporate reputation management and executive positioning efforts. With roots in Northwestern Pennsylvania, Rachel is a graduate of Duquesne University, where she was an endowed Women’s & Gender Studies Honors Fellow and received a bachelor’s degree in international relations and public relations. While at Duquesne, Rachel served as a SWSG college mentor and on the college chapter’s leadership team. Since then, Rachel relocated to Brooklyn and served on the SWSG Communications Committee from 2020 to 2023, including two years as Committee Chair. She is honored to serve on the SWSG Board of Directors and as a strategic liaison for the organization’s New York City initiatives.
