On January 24th, Strong Women, Strong Girls Boston Associate Director Shaunda Lewis will be speaking on Mass Mentoring Counts’ Building Futures Through Relationships panel. Celebrating Mass Mentoring Partnership’s 25th year, the organization will release its 2016 case studies and data about youth-serving organizations in the community. Shaunda and Dr. Colin Rose, Assistant Superintendent of Opportunity and Achievement Gaps for Boston Public Schools, will examine the results and also discuss current forms of mentorship.
We are excited for Shaunda and proud to see her represent SWSG as she explores important questions, such as “how do we create pathways to successful futures for young people?” Boston City Councilor Andrea Campbell will also speak about her work and relationship with the community. More information about the event can be found here.
