Strong Women, Strong Girls is gearing up for Spring Training! At the beginning of each semester, Strong Women, Strong Girls brings together all mentors and adult volunteers in each SWSG city for a training day that includes workshops led by SWSG staff and leaders and representatives from local organizations. Spring Training is the day when our whole SWSG community comes together to work on the skills that help us to carry out our mission of empowering girls! Below are details for our 2012 trainings in Boston, Miami, and Pittsburgh:
 
Boston Service and Celebration Spring Training: 
Date: Saturday, January 28, 2012; Adult Volunteers: 8:30am-1:30pm ; College Mentors: 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Location: Microsoft New England R&D Center, One Memorial Drive, Cambridge, MA 02142
Highlights include: Screening of Miss Representation; Workshops on: “Best Practices in Volunteer Engagement & Coaching,” “Improvisational Speaking” with performers from Cheap Sox (Tufts University Improv Troupe), “Get Active!” presented by Playworks and Whole Foods, “Resume Writing and Interviewing Skills” presented by Hollister Staffing and more!
