SWSG is proud to announce that this May, our team will be joining It’s Time 2015 as an Engagement Partner.
“It’s Time 2015 is a cross-sector initiative bringing women and men together to achieve gender equity and empower women and girls at all levels to be leaders. Expected to draw attendees representing a full spectrum of social and economic diversity, the inaugural summit will take place May 1-3, 2015 in the host city of Baltimore, while satellite events occur simultaneously in partner cities across the U.S,” said the conference’s organizers.

Participating in It’s Time 2015 alongside leading individuals and organizations from across the social justice world–including the NAACP, the National Domestic Workers Alliance, Girls Inc., and Women Moving Millions, just to name a few–provides SWSG the opportunity to impact the national dialogue on gender equity on a large scale. Taking place during a year of immense nation-wide “buzz” around girl empowerment and women’s leadership, It’s Time 2015 will be a powerful platform for SWSG and our peers at other girl-serving organizations. We are honored to represent the voices of women and girls around Greater Boston, and look forward to deepening our connections with allies who can help us elevate our drive to create cycles of mutual empowerment.
