Why Invest in Girls and Women?
Girls and women are up against tremendous obstacles to their personal and professional success. Funding for programs that elevate girls and break down barriers often falls short. Less than 5 cents of every foundation dollar goes to programs for girls and women. Within that funding, nearly 40% is sent overseas—twice the rate at which other international giving is directed. Beyond that, less than 2% of multi-figure gifts, which have an immense impact, support women’s causes. But YOU can change this!
Your support is critical to making sure programs for women and girls continue into the future.

On average women reinvest 90% of their income back into their families and communities. By donating to Strong Women, Strong Girls, you are part of a community working to help girls and women to realize their inner strengths, explore their passions, and develop the skills needed to become leaders.
Every gift to SWSG Boston helps us expand our mentoring opportunities for women and girls.
- $25 provides supplies for a hands-on learning activity for 20 girls at one site.
- $50 provides one month of healthy, after-school snacks for one site.
- $250 sponsors training opportunities for one chapter for one semester.
- $1,000 supports a program site with up to 20 girls for an entire semester.

Become a Corporate/Business Sponsor
Become an official sponsor of SWSG Boston. Business and corporate sponsorship allows you to connect with our diverse female community and create a mutually beneficial partnership. Our varying levels of support and event sponsorship opportunities provide chances for your employees and executives to make connections with our professional mentors, college women mentors, soon seeking employment, and with our elementary girls and families.
