Yesterday, the members of the National and Boston teams attended the Massachusetts Conference for Women courtesy of the Omega Institute! We also had the pleasure of bringing along some of our mentors from Northeastern University, Tufts University, and Simmons College. Highlights of the day included keynote speakers like Victoria Reggie Kennedy, Judge Glenda Hatchett, First Lady of Massachusetts Diane Patrick, Christy Turlington Burns, and the legendary Gloria Steinem.
In addition to us live-tweeting all day, four of our Northeastern student leaders took the proverbial streets with our Flip camera to interview a few of the amazing women who were present at the conference:

The women featured in the video are: Judge Glenda Hatchett; Dr. Auma Obama from CARE; Mia Roberts from Big Sister Association of Greater Boston; and Jen Glynn, SWSG Northeastern Chapter Director.
What was Jen Glynn’s favorite part of the conference?  See for yourself:

And, just for fun, here’s what MY favorite part was:

Thanks to the Omega Institute for giving us all the opportunity to attend the conference.  Also, great big sparkly thank you to Michelle Adler, Page Coleman, Jen Glynn and Justine Lescarbeau for being fearless reporters and camerawomen!
