Featuring social impact trendsetters including Brian Sirgutz, Editor of Impact & Education at Huffington Post, Amy Smith, Executive Director of the Hands on Network, and Adam Garone, Founder and CEO of Movember, the award was a whose who of world changers.
Strong Women, Strong Girls was the national winner in the Philanthropic Business of the Year Category. Founder and CEO of Zappos.com, Tony Hsieh, presented the award, sharing that Strong Women, Strong Girls had demonstrated a commitment and passion to building a culture of service and volunteerism.
Strong Women, Strong Girls Founder and President, Lindsay Hyde, and Pittsburgh Executive Director, Lynne Garfinkel, accepted the award on behalf of Strong Women, Strong Girls. Of the honor, Lindsay said, “Strong Women, Strong Girls is creating a movement to recognize the passion, the talent, and the leadership that women and girls are providing in communities nationwide.
