The charitable goal of “Look Fabulous Share Confidence” is to project a positive self-image for girls in underserved communities. When it comes to looks, school, friends and family, 7 in 10 American teen girls believe they are not good enough or don’t measure up in some way.
To help make a positive differen48404Mce, Gennaro has developed a unique jewelry line for Icing’s customer base that features over a dozen beautiful styles of earrings, bracelets and necklaces that use the words “strong,” “ambitious,” and “confident” to empower girls and women of all ages and backgrounds to strive for these things everyday. Gennaro’s new “Look Fabulous Share Confidence” (LFSC) line will be displayed in a designated fixture located by the cash register in select Icing stores. Reaching every woman’s budget, the affordable line will cost $6.50 – $10.50.

To help pay it forward, Gennaro has pledged to donate 10% of their profits from “Look Fabulous Share Confidence” sold at Icing stores to Strong Women, Strong Girls (SWSG), a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to support positive mentoring relationships between pre-adolescent girls, college women, and young professionals in underserved communities to help raise ambition and help reduce the incidence of low self-esteem. Cultivating leadership skills in over 10,000 strong girls since its inception in 2004, SWSG shares Gennaro’s vision of empowering girls and women to lead strong and successful lives.
